Hornets stung by the Greens

In an entertaining midweek match at Debenham Leisure centre last night East Bergholt overcame Debenham and a biblical downpour to secure 3 points against the Hornets. A free kick from Sam Donneley early in the game gave Bergholt the lead. Despite enterprising play neither keeper was troubled unduly. Bergholt scored a second goal towards the end of the match following a mix up in the Debenham defence leaving Ben Pratt the chance to capitalise with a strike into an open net from 18yds.
