Division 4 Presentation

The final division title was settled on Saturday when Redgrave Rangers Reserves defeated Kesgrave Kestrel’s Reserves ,2-1. Kesgrave came into the game top on goal difference, so only a win for Redgrave would secure the title. Redgrave got off to the perfect start when a free kick into the box came off a defenders head and eluded the Kesgrave keeper for 1-0 after 3 minutes. Kesgrave had more of the possession but could not break down a resolute Redgrave defence. Redgrave scored a second goal midway through the second half, before Kesgrave pulled one back with a great shot from distance but they were unable to find an equaliser which would have given them the title.

Congratulations to Redgrave who had to regroup at the start of the season after losing a majority of their players having won Div 2 last season, they had to withdraw their first team and continued with the Reserves.
