Cup draws

The second round draw of the 2024-25 Morrison Freight Cup was drawn at East Bergholt FC yesterday after the Senior game between East Bergholt United and Wickham Market.

Ben Bibby who earlier had played his 500th games for East Bergholt and Melissa Knights, the Wickham Market Secretary, helped to conduct the draw. .

The draw is as follows:-

AFC Kesgrave v Henley Athletic

Ipswich Wanderers Development v Wenhaston United

Thurston v Achilles

Framlingham Town A v Gipping Gnats

Kirton Athletic v Debenham LC

Bacton United 89 v Old Newton United

Wickham Market v Grundisburgh

Capel Plough v Stowupland Falcons

East Bergholt United v Haughley United

Sporting 87 v Claydon

Coplestonians v Trimley Red Devils

Tattingstone United v Leiston St Margarets

Saxmundham Sports v Elmswell

Halesworth Town v Kesgrave Kestrels

Redgrave Rangers and Stonham Aspal received byes as Ransomes Sports and Bardwell Sports have both withdrawn from the original entrants list.

Matches to be played on January 4th and 11th 2025 because of ground availability issues.
