Tacket Street BBOB resign from the League

Sadly Tacket Street BBOB will no longer be playing in the SIL after 55 years. The Club’s Committee were getting older and most of last year’s squad had moved on to pastures new, so there was no alternative but to fold. I believe the League’s chairman Keith Norton and his son Darren have played for Tacket Street in their careers. Long time secretary Bryan Naunton received the Meritorious award from the League in 2011. Both Bryan and his chairman Ron Baker worked hard, keeping up with modern technology to run the Club very efficiently. Two real footballing gentlemen and you will be missed
