RESERVE MANAGER POST

Wenhaston United are looking for a new Reserve Team Manager to take over the side currently competing in Macron SIL Intermediate B on Saturday afternoons.
Following 6 consecutive seasons playing in Intermediate ‘A’, the Reserves were relegated into Intermediate ‘B’ at the end of the 2018-19 season. Consolidation was the main aim this past season and with the abrupt end back in March, has been achieved.
Our goal is to push the Reserves back into Intermediate ‘A’ as soon as possible. This is a must for any club focusing on player development, and ease of integration of players between Reserves and First Team. It also sets the club on the right footing to give their First Team adequate back up when required. Any players aim should be to play for the First Team, which should go hand in hand with the ambitions of the Reserve manager.
The club is preferably looking for someone with experience, either at junior, U18 or Adult level. However, this is not critical, as experience as a player with an amazing amount of enthusiasm, ambition and man management skills would be just as important. The club would support any required courses, if deemed necessary, particularly if required by the FA.
The right person or persons will work alongside an existing committee and the First Team management and coaching staff. They must have a keen interest in working with players both young and experienced. Developing younger players towards First Team level a key principle, using the experienced club players to assist when they can.
