CLOSED DATES

The SIL allowed a period of relaxation for closed dates to be sent to the Fixture Secretary Alan Sparkes because of the Covid crisis. Now football is starting again in September the following change will apply.

(1)  This relaxation will continue to apply until the end of September for all teams and therefore you can still contact Alan Sparkes with closed date requests.. But for administration purposes 7 clear days notice will be required before any fixture in September. 

(2) From October 1st the SIL rules will revert back to the normal  rules concerning this matter.
So in essence Senior teams have until the end of September to apply for closed dates for the season. And all other teams will require to give 35 days notice of any application after October 1st.
