Walsham Le Willows ‘A’ Divisional Cup winners 2019/2020

The first of last season’s Cup Finals, the Divisional Cup was held on Wednesday 7th October between Occold and Walsham le Willows ‘A’ at the home of Felixstowe & Walton FC. The match itself turned out to be a thoroughly entertaining affair with the outcome of a 5-1 win to Walsham, this not being a fair reflection of the game, as Occold were most unfortunate not to be ahead at half time with chances being made and Walsham thankful that their goal keeper kept out clear goal scoring opportunities, but football is all about scoring goals and that is just what Walsham did. The match was played in an excellent spirit very well marshalled by Mr James Brooks and his team of officials, and an absolute credit to the Macron Suffolk & Ipswich league.
